I've racked my head on this one with no luck...EE can't figure it our either. Looking for info to interface the MB-1 to the Tokyo Hy-power 1.5 amplifier.
TIA!

Maybe 1 of these? It's what I use between my Elecraft and the MB1 as well as every other radio I use the amp with.

Thank you...my amplifier keys and works just fine with the MB1. The real issue is that it won't band track. EE has looked into the issue without resolution. Seems like perhaps a CAT protocol issue. FWIW, I can get my CAT port to talk to my Palstar AT-AUTO. My amp tracked just fine with my old IC-7700 and Yeasu radios.

Would perhaps DDUtil help and allow you to do that?

I'm not really sure. I have been in SDR's from the SDR-1000 days without too much problem. The MB1 is a geat rig but it is hard for me to interface hardware and software.

Looks like you can do this with DDUtil 3 and a custom cable and 9600 baud 8N1. If your amp already has a serial cable to your PC then you can just use a a vsp from the MB1.. and if you want to run stuff off another PC then you can use lan based serial ports from the MB1 to your PC and then run anything you want off another PC. Anyways, you should be able to pass the band data to your amp via DDUtil. I had to build a cable for my Anan to do something I wanted and you can see in this link that even with Flex he had to use DDUtil and cable.
